Declan Edwards (aka "That Happiness Guy") is a researcher, author, and global positive psychology expert who has dedicated his career to proving that happiness is a high-performance skill, not a fleeting emotion. As the founder of BU Happiness College and a holder of a Master's Degree in Applied Positive Psychology, Declan bridges the gap between academic rigour and real-world results.

His philosophies and approaches to happiness have made him a sought-after speaker for organisations like the United Nations, PwC, and CPA Australia. He also guest lectures on happiness and wellbeing science for CQU, Bond University, and the Culture Institute of Australia.

Declan's career in helping others live better lives began in the health and fitness industry, where he spent 5 years as a personal trainer and nutrition coach before studying Positive Psychology and the science of happiness.

At his core, Declan believes that happiness spreads a ripple effect - and that the more people who learn how to live happier lives, the better the world will become.
